How many times can you steam feather birdies?

Hi, I have a question on steaming the feather birdies. I know how to steam them (either in bathroom or using a kettle). My question is sometimes I can go through a whole tube in a day, and sometimes i might only use 2 or 3 out of the whole tube, and the rest is left for another day. Can I re-steam them again? the leftovers? I've once steamed the same tube 3 times. Im mainly worried that the glue might become soft or dammage the feathers.
