We SMASHERS BADMINTON CLUB (SBC) would like to start our 1st badminton session every Monday inElements Badminton Centre starting 14th April 2014. There will be more sessions coming soon.
Details are as follows:-

Time: 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Venue: Elements Badminton Centre (location map below)
Courts: 1, 2 & 3
Capacity: 24 players
Shuttlecock: Feather - RCL Black Silver
Fees: Sharing basis (estimated RM17-19/person)
Players Level: Intermediate & above (strictly not a beginner session)

System of play: This session will be only be playing doubles with the 21 pointssystem. In order to keep it competitive among advance players and for intermediate players to improve their game play we will adopt the a system as per below.
We have 3 courts, court 1, 2 & 3. Winning pair will move up to the right court and loosing pair will move to the left court. Players will rest for a game after each game. Winning pair on the right court will remain on the right court and looser on left court will remain on the left court.
With this system, it will allow better players to pit among themselves competitively and give a chance to less better players to keep improving while playing with the better players.
This will eliminate differentiation of players level and encourage players to improve as a group.
